20 THINGS THAT CHANGE WHEN YOU HAVE A BABY

Everyone warns you that having a baby will change your life. Sure, you’ll have less money (and sleep), and a lot more responsibility. But when the centre of your universe shifts to your new baby, there’s much to celebrate too:

• You discover an inner strength you never realised you had. Yes i do..

Never felt that i could carry my tummy for 9 months including my overweight body.. is that kind of strength this question mean?? he he he …

• You accept that the last 15 pregnancy pounds you can’t seem to shift are absolutely worth it.

15 pounds?? are u crazy…???

• You don’t need a clock any more - your baby now sets your daily schedule.

Herm.. my baby didnt set the time to wake up as per needed, so i’ve to set another alarm by using my handphone.

• You respect and love your own parents in a new way.

Yes absolutely !

• Any pain your baby suffers feels much worse than your own.

Of course.. The baby can’t tell us how the pain felt, and if we can replace them of course i’ll take it in honour.. But just wonder how.. i can look after and give full attention to my baby in that situation, but would my hubby will take care of me as the same as i do if i am sick? Parah jugak..!

• You don’t mind going to bed at 9pm on a Friday night

Wallah.. How wonderful… My baby’s sleeping time was early at 8 actually.

• Your heart breaks much more easily.

Yalah… but does men know about that?

• You discover how much there is to say about one little baby tooth.

Now.. his sister keep complaining, because the brother start biting the sister’s hand and finger!

• You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.

i’m always holding my baby and look at the mirror. I’ll see both faces.

• You’re no longer disgusted by babies’ bodily functions - in fact, you’re fascinated by them (hooray, a poo!)

Herm… For his sister Nafeesa, i will say yes,because on that time i’m still exploring for how to become a great mother, but for now.. i i rather call my helper to settle it otherwise the baby have to wait for me for his ‘cleaning’ time. (I reach at home usually by 7.00pm!!)

• The sacrifices you thought you’d made to have a baby no longer seem that big a deal.

Yes, i hope they will appreciate us when they grow up later.

• You respect your body … finally.

Yes, inner and outer… inner - for giving me a healthy life so i can work harder to make more asset for my children in the future, Outer - to make sure my hubby won’t run away from me! Huhz!!!

• You realise that a baby’s comforter has magical powers!

Yes… what else can we say.. it was all done by HIM

• You give parents with a screaming baby an "I-know-the-feeling" look, instead of a "Can’t-they-shut-him-up?" one.

Er.. i should vote for both. Actually its depends on situation..He He he…

• You make time for one more baby hug and kiss, even if it means you’ll be late.

After giving the hug and kiss once.. dont you ever to repeat that because in my case, my baby will start crying begging me to hold him and bring him into the car for a few minutes.. After that i will drive crazyly to make sure that "im not late again" to punch my card on that day.. Otherwise somebody will give me a LOVE Letter… hu hu hu

• You realise that it’s possible to love a complete stranger.

Owh… Itu curang namanya.. ha ha ha!!

• You learn that taking a shower is a luxury, never mind a trip to the hairdresser’s.

Just go to hairdresser’s for hair cut..

• You finally get to speak to the shy neighbour in your street, because you’ve got a baby in your arms.

My helper finally get to speak to the shy neighbour near us, because she’s got a baby in her arms.. While im in the office trying to be rich and richer for the children.

• You find that things that once seemed important are now meaningless.

Just put the once seemed important before in optional cases or not in a top priority
